Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola

Today we woke up around 7:00 and had pancakes for breakfast. After breakfast, we sent up our dive gear around 7:30, and our two groups jumped in using the giant stride technique. We descended to 60 ft (18m), earning certifications for some and adding to the fun for others. During the dive, our groups brought down eggs to see how the depth changes and how pressure affects the world around us. While we were cracking the eggs, the pressure exerted on the environment made it difficult for us to crack them. So, many of us ended up breaking the yolks, even though we were very gentle with them. The people in our groups who didn’t break the yolks ended up playing catch with them, although you had to be very gentle. After the dive, we went dinghy sailing. Unfortunately, the wind was very weak and unpredictable. In addition to this, we waterskied, wakeboarded, kneeboarded, and learned about navigational inter dynamic, systematic pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, and subsequently subtectonic antidisestablishmentarianism, cheese, and hot wheels. And we had a very fun and engaging beach bbq that every being to ever exist within our realm of physiological construct enjoyed.
