Today we woke up bright and early at 5:30am to hike up “The Quill”. After the hike we had some down time and most of the us used to the computers at the national parks center. Then at 11:30 we met by “The Donkey” for lunch. After delicious PB and J sandwiches, we had some more free time. At 12:45 some people met at the dive shop, while at three the rest of the group met and took Hibiclens showers. The group of people who went scuba diving first did a practice dive off of the dock and then went to a real dive site called “Crooks Castle”. “Crooks Castle” is a coral-covered lava flow at 40 feet deep. We saw tons of marine life from small fish to a unique type of lobster, it was incredible. The people who took Hibiclens showers claimed they felt “strangely clean” after. At around 6:30pm we left for Nevis. We had two shifts, the first one from 7-10 and then from 10 to 12:30 when we arrive in Nevis.
