Freaky Flips
Hey Families! Charly here. Today, we started off on another 6 am sail. Well, the staff did; the kids woke up at 7 am at The Baths. We ate some cereal for breakfast and then took our dingy Rango over to the baths. We took a lot of photos and raced up to the jump rock. Logan, Yeya, Dani, River, and I hit some killer Pink Weenies off the rock.
Meanwhile, Aria, Avi, Liam, and our new friend Darby did some really good flips. We then went back to the beach to Chicken fight and run some Oklahoma drills. After our eventful time at the Baths we headed to Spanish Town, while we were under way we took our first hibicleans shower and prepared to make our appearance on land. The group then split when we hit Spanish Town, one group heading to The Bath and Turtle restaurant and the other going to The Jerk Pit. My group, consisting of River, Logan, Lila, Liam, and Avi, enjoyed some amazing jerk chicken at the Jamaican-owned restaurant. We all met up at the local grocery store to restock some snacks and ended our quest at the local ice cream shop, YumYums. We started another sail to Mountain Point, where we completed our Rescue Books (chapter 4 and Search and Recovery). Once at Mountain Point, we had some free time to swim or relax until 4 pm, when we started our rescue training. Today’s training consisted of In and out-of-water assists. We had to take “an unconscious” body out of the water both on the transom and the swim ladder. It was quite exhausting and taxing on both the victim and the rescuer. Leaving our group very tired. We enjoyed some Chili and Rice for dinner and then ended the day with a Rescue Lecture and, of course, some Freaky Uno.
Love you lots ( tell goose I miss him) <3
