Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Hey guys
Today was a crazy (freaky) day. Our day began with some scrumptious French toast before diving down to complete our search & recovery dive. Avi and I destroyed the search patterns and knots for the lift bag and celebrated with some freaky dance moves underwater after each station. After the dive, we motored over to the gorgeous Leverick Bay for some shore time and the first BBQ of the session with DJ H3AVY Beatz. We arrived at the docks and headed to get some yummy food at the restaurant. After munching, we stopped at the grocery store to stock the boat with some freaky snacks. Then, YAY! We got to call home and say hi! After saying bye for now to our fam and friends (you guys), we moved over to a mooring ball and began EFR training. Although some, including me and Charly, fell asleep during the EFR video, it was quite fun towards the end. We went over the workbook and then started the exercises. We all performed CPR together to Stayin’ Alive and then wrapped each other with bandages and a tourniquet to practice first aid. To demonstrate, Maeve bandaged Liam’s “snake-bitten leg,” and we all took turns bandaging each other up, which was awesome. After the EFR training, we jumped into the water to shower before the BBQ and got all preeettyy. We took some pics on the boat and then were dropped at the docks to get ready to munch at the BBQ and get freaky with DJ Heavy Beatzzzz !!! The BBQ was scrumptious, and the whole boat went hard on the dance floor. Liam won the Soulja Boy dance contest and got a free virgin strawberry daiquiri. Now, we’re all chilling on the boat together until we fall asleep.
