Location: The Bight, Norman Island

We started the day today by taking down our hammock village and eating cereal and fruit for breakfast. Most of the morning consisted of us getting to know each other and playing cards: Gianna and Talia dominated the multiple games of spoons. We then went to the docks to get some more water for the boat, and Luke helped tie the boat to the dock. Then we set sail from West End in Tortola to Norman Island. Sean and Tristan helmed the boat, while Leuck helped put up the sails. Once we arrived at Norman Island, we ate lunch consisting of sandwiches and Pringles. Once everyone finished lunch, we had to take the dreaded swim test, but once we swam four laps around the boat and treaded water for 10 minutes, everyone successfully passed. To celebrate, we went swimming around the boat. Hugh and Charlie did some cool flips off the boat and attempted to teach Selah. After swimming, we rode off on the dinghy to the place we were snorkeling, called the caves. We made our way through caves and conquered many jellyfish. We headed back to our boat and took our first ocean shower. We finished the day with a delicious dinner made by Emerson and Mariah and our first dive chat!
