Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today was the best so far and quite fantastic, exciting, and awesome. We started off the day with oatmeal, which was for the first time this session. After a nice breakfast, we got ready for our first rotation day, which consisted of windsurfing, diving, watersports, and dinghy driving. We started the checkout dive at 30ish feet just to go over the basic to make sure everybody knows what they’re doing. From there we switched out our tanks for our second dive for our navigation part of our advanced certification, on which we saw a few turtles and a lot of coral, but not much else. After that, we came back to the boat for the tuna salad lunch. After that, we went to windsurfing on the beach. Everybody had a hard time figuring it out at first, but then most people really got the hang of it and were doing quite well. From there we headed over to dinghy driving and watersports. Many people water skied and wakeboarded and kneeboarded. This lasted for quite a long time but somehow felt really short. We finished off the day with a chili dinner and a Lifeworks Forum with Mike. That was the day of Sailing Curls.
