Location: The Bight, Norman Island
This morning, we woke up at 7 am, got ready for a busy and fun day, ate cereal for breakfast, and met up with director Mike for our briefing. After learning about safety and the rules to keep us safe, we set sail. Chase, Greyson, and Jack M raised our main sheet, and Lyla used the winch to pull our sail the rest of the way up. Around 2, We arrived at Norman Island. We anchored and then enjoyed the sun. Andrew B, Andrew D, Caroline, Lyla, Emilia, and I practiced our flips off the dinghy while Sofia and Sloane practiced their free diving. Then we went snorkeling, and LJ (Jack H) brought his GoPro, so we got lots of great videos of us diving and a group photo. We snorkeled a couple of really cool caves and saw a bunch of unique fish. Lyla and Sloane made sloppy joes for dinner. Andrew D says hi to Uncle Tom and Uncle Scott. Overall, we had a great first full today and are exited for many more to come.
