We started our day out by hearing the news that Kevin left, but with every down, there’s an up. In this situation, the up is that Jim- aka the God Father of Seamester- is taking over the reins as captain. After breakfast, we took a taxi up to the rock of Gibraltar. We saw and learned many things; one of us even learned not to eat ice cream around the monkeys. After the caves, we drove up to one of the two jails on the island that was in use less than six months ago of all the amazing artifacts that one stuck out because of the incredible view. When we were done with the tour, we got dropped off in town. Some of us went to look for what seemed an impossible task of finding an American football. Others went to get laundry and eat at some of the incredible restaurants that are all over Gibraltar. We had to be back on the boat by 4 to motor around while a ferry drops off passengers, but we were soon surprised to find out that we are leaving for Mallorca. We got boat prep done quickly and left. We prepared dinner which was steak curry and it was incredible. After a long day of exploration, we ended it with cleanup and the eagerness to see what comes next for the crew of Argo tomorrow.
