Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
We woke up this morning in Muskmelon Bay to a breakfast of bagels and yogurt. Shortly after for our first rotation, we learned about coral reefs, how they work, and what we can do to help them. We all got certified in coral reef conservation. For our second rotation of the day, we went on our third open water dive on the “sand highway.” During our dive, we saw many animals and plants such as stingrays and fan coral. After a delicious lunch of mac and cheese, we departed for waterskiing and Zesting. Although no one wanted to go Zesting, many of us went wakeboarding and slalom skiing. During this, we saw a pack of dolphins, and we even got to jump in and swim with them! After skiing, we went back to Bavastro to learn how to make Turk’s Head bracelets. We showered, had swim time, and enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast for dinner. Currently, we are looking forward to our evening program of sail chat and our fun day tomorrow!
