Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

This morning, we were awoken by some lovely tunes (my favorite way to wake up) and then enjoyed some scrumptious cereal in preparation for the busy day ahead of us. To start the day off, we dove the RMS Rhone! We dolphins used our freshly learned underwater photography skills to take some sick photos of the wreck, the surrounding marine life, and our dive buddies. The Neptunes did a swim through by the propeller. After our dive, we got ready for a gorgeous hike with the other dive side boats and took some pics at the top. Next, we ate our post-hike lunch. I personally enjoyed peanut butter, Nutella, and jelly sandwich (yum!). Then, Anna led the dolphins in a research diver lecture, and we discussed our ideas for our upcoming underwater research project. We then snorkeled at the coral wall that we would dive at later that night. After our snorkel, we ate some delicious risotto, Caesar salad, chicken, and corn for dinner and prepped our dive kits for the second night dive of our trip. The night dive was a m a z i n g! We worked on our navigational skills using a compass. Me and my dive buddies, Faith and Annabelle, successfully completed our skills and didn’t get lost (thankfully!). After our skills, we dove into the coral wall and saw an abundance of marine life. When we got back to the boat, we took our saltwater showers with the tarpons and enjoyed freshly-baked brownies for our successful night dive. Before bed, we quad-rafted and socialized with the three other dive side boats, then had a restful night of sleep!
