This morning in Anegada, we woke up to the smell of delicious buttermilk pancakes being made in the kitchen! After eating every last pancake, we piled in the dingy and headed to the Anegada Rock Iguana Headstart Facility. Once there, we spent the next few hours cleaning up the brush in the iguana’s cages, giving them water, and feeding them iguana salad. We then proceeded to split into three separate groups and went on a garbage scavenger hunt on the beautiful beaches of Anegada. We met up afterward, and compared all the garbage we found, then headed back to the boat for the night. We showered, fixed, and ate dinner, then finished the day off with warm chocolate chip cookies. It was definitely a day to remember.
