Today was an exciting day for everyone! We started the day with a breakfast of eggs and cranberry muffins. As soon as cleanup was complete, we got started with our first rotation of the day; watersports. Boats went out with people waterskiing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding. After having lots of fun out in the water, we came back for our final PADI review, as our certification test is tonight after dinner. Once completing our review, we ate our lunch, which was white bean tortilla soup. Everybody enjoyed this well-made meal by Will and Patrick. Afterward, we all went onto Tanis Marie to practice mooring the boat. Everyone took turns steering, using the boat hook, and tying the boat onto the mooring. It was windy, but even though it was tricky, everyone did it with no problem. When that was over, we got ready for the much-awaited part of the day, our second confined water dive! We dove about ten feet and continued to practice our dive skills. Once leaving the water, we went back to the boat and ate chicken Caesar salad. It’s now 7:30 and soon we’ll take our open water certification tests. I can’t believe how fast this trip is going by! Overall though, this has been a successful day on the water.
