Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
The day started at 6:45 am, and waking up to a clean ship was amazing! I’m so glad we cleaned the night before. When we all woke, we were already underway, motoring to Mountain Point. When we arrived, we had 10 minutes to clean up all of breakfast; then, we were off for two hours of water sports. While waiting to get on the dinghy, I saw my brother tip over the Pico boat and India, and I laughed so hard she started choking. After that, we went to a different boat called Squeakybrat to do a navigation course with the one and only Patrick. There wasn’t a lot to say about that other than it was really funny. After a fun-filled time talking about navigation, we headed back to our boat for lunch! Then we went out and did man overboard drills. That was okay. The best activity today was scuba diving! Every time I go, I can tell I get more familiar with everything. My favorite part of diving was the drill, where you have to stay neutrally buoyant. No touching the top or bottom. After diving, we took showers and chilled while waiting for dinner. Overall, today was really fun.
