Day 8 o the BVI followed a pattern of fun, laughs, and smiles. Today we woke up to the usual morning CD and dined on a nice hot bowl of oatmeal. Everyone was still exhausted at breakfast from the big party last night. Today was our third rotation day, which consisted of sailing Picos and Rhodes, playing games on the beach, and our final dive chat. We started the day sailing the Rhodes. Although they wee fun, the real sailing adventure was yet to come. After the Rhodes we sailed the Picos. I have to say this was my favorite part of the day. Austin and I decided to take out a Pico. What started as a relaxing sail went downhill from a sailing perspective and got increasingly funnier. What was a 100 yard sail back to the beach turned into a 45 minute adventure. This was followed by lunch. We then hung out on the beach. Our final rotation was our last dive chat. Since I was skipper today I was responsible for docking and pulling out our boat. I was pretty stoked when I realized I just successfully docked our 51 ft. sailing yacht. Pretty good for a 13 year old. We are all now sitting around waiting for the highly anticipated Mexican night, which has to be completely overseen by Ivan. I still can’t believe that I’m lying on a yacht in the Caribbean writing this.
