Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

Today was another great and memorable day. This was our second rotation day at Vixen Point. We woke up and ate some oatmeal and then set up our dive gear. After a fun dive, we came back to Sailing Curls with time to chill until the next rotation. People were laying up on the bow or having a good time in the cockpit. The second rotation was learning new knots. We learned the cleat, half hitch, clove hitch and figure eight. We made our way into lunch by making some PB&Js and turkey sandwiches. We cleaned the dishes and made our way to sailing. We went out with a partner and got to sail Picos for 40 minutes. It was such a blast. Devin and I got to capsize two times and turtle the boat. Sadly, the day was coming to an end. We made our way to Rhodes and got to sail around the harbor for a little while. After making our trip back to Sailing Curls from Mike, we cleaned up and got ready for dinner. We then had a sail chat from Gwen. I hope tomorrow will be as fun as today was! P.S. It was Mexican night and it was amazing. Thanks to the chef, Alex!
