Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was an amazing sail day. After an oatmeal breakfast, we docked at Leverick Bay, filled our fresh water tanks, and got snacks from the grocery store. Rachel bought chocolate Oreos, with which we decided to make toast. They tasted better than normal Oreos. When we left the dock, we set sail and started a race to Anegada. Anegada is not only far away from the other islands, but it is also much flatter than the others. After anchoring, we had sandwiches for lunch. Then we went to shore on dinghies and had lots of fun on the beach. The staff made a pyramid out of 13 people! At about 2:30 pm, we sailed back to Mountain Point. We had a fantastic time sitting on the bow while the waves were crashing against the boat, making us soaking wet. Then we sat together and had a nice talk. For dinner, we had a nice talk. For dinner, we had tortillas. Soooo good. But that wasn’t the only good thing: besides the amazing, magical sunset we are looking at now, everything today was awesome.
