Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Today was another wonderful day aboard Bella Vita. We woke up nice and early in Vixen Point for a quick sail to port so we could refill our water tanks. All the shipmates stocked up on our beloved Chips Ahoy so we could last until the next stop at the port. After leaving port, George took the helm, and we raced the other boats to the awesome island of Anegada so we could enjoy the beach. Although we did not come in first, we had a great time sitting on the bow of the boat as we splashed through the waves. Once we arrived in Anegada, we went to the beach, which had some of the nicest sand any of us had ever seen. All of us agreed that it was like stepping on pillows. Jumping off the dunes and into the water was definitely one of the best parts of the day. We later got back in the dinghy and went back to the amazing Bella Vita. We all loved jumping off the dinghies and into the water to swim back to the boat. I then took the helm, and we sailed back to Mountain Point so we can complete our first open water dive tomorrow- it’s going to be great! As always, it was a wonderful day of sailing and fun in the BVI, and we are all excited to have tonight’s burritos for Mexican night!
