Today was rather simple for a rotation day. The DMs had some pretty awesome but ls pretty intense Emergency First Responder activities today, as well as some surface skills (removing weight belts, taking off our BCDs, and putting them back on) There were a couple of hilarious moments during Maddie’s demonstration of removing the BCD at the surface, but I think every one is getting used to demonstration speed. Besides that, the DMs had a quick session on the beach working on the last couple of knowledge reviews before coming back to Zourite for lunch, then heading back for Emergency First Responder lessons. To top the night off today is the night of the dance/BBQ, which should be interesting. The Emergency First Responder activities, including a review of the basic steps and overall information included in the rescue diver course (lots of reinforcement). While the DM’s day was definitely interesting, the Vegas had a good time for sure sailing two-man sailboats called Picos and larger ones called Rhodes, as well as spending some time relaxing on the beach, and a coral talk which from what I heard was about marine ecosystem preservation. All in all, it was a pretty good day for everyone.
