Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

We started the morning nice and early. When we sat down to breakfast, all the other boats were still sleeping. We started our first rotation, which was waterskiing and wakeboarding. Tash, Astrid, and Tyler all got up waterskiing for the first time, which was super fun to watch. After waterskiing, we went snorkeling at the mangroves, which was beautiful. We saw baby barracuda, jellyfish, and many different kinds of coral. Then we came back and had lunch with Fritz, who had taken us waterskiing. After lunch, we jumped off the stern of the boat and swam to the beach to go windsurfing. The wind was a lot stronger today than when we were in Savannah Bay, so we got to surf a little faster and tack as well. Then we came back to the boat and went to Calypso with Carolyn to learn different knots. We learned how to tie a bowline, a monkey’s fist, double sheet bend, clove hitch, square knot, and a figure-eight knot. After the knots, we got everything ready for dinner, which was veggie burgers. We did the squeeze, and the question today was, “if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live, and why?” Tonight we have a scuba chat and then bed. We had a super fun and super busy day.
