Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
An early start to today’s activities with the first dive ending at only 9:30 am. Everyone had fun on this dive. The Dolphin team spent some time hanging out with a baby sea turtle and a spiny lobster. Next, we had our second dive in the morning where before we even entered the water, we saw a nice sized turtle breathing at the surface. This dive was extra special because, for most of us, this was the first dive we would participate in without an instructor. All of the groups did great jobs with navigation and returning to the boat on time. After the second time, we dove we had a great mac and cheese lunch made by Meghann. Then we had a dance/sing session and left to head back to Mountain Point for lectures on rescue diving or marine biology. After that, we all had fun swimming and preparing dinner (which was great). Then we had a nice squeeze where we had a guest appearance by “Shaggy” and had to answer the question “If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be?” Now Rescues are doing EFR and Dolphins are doing Lifeworks.
