Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

This morning we got to sleep into a generous 7 am. We ate expertly made french toast, which has to be the best I’ve ever had. Heading out to Anegada, we suited up in our PFDs. The sail was the longest we’ve had yet, and luckily, none of us got too seasick. To keep us busy, we practiced our knots from the day before. When we could finally see the strangely flat island, Matt got to yell land ho! Anegada was a beautiful remote beach with some of the bluest water. We had chicken fights, and Anja and Nylagh were the reigning champions. Then on the beach, we played tag and Marilyn left us in the dust. We sadly didn’t have too much time on the island because we had to make it to Gorda Sound to get water for our tanks. While anchoring, we danced and threw around an imaginary ball. Once anchored, we took our showers and got ready for dinner. At dinner, we had many laughs per usual. After cleaning up, we celebrated Anja’s 18th birthday. It was a wonderful and relaxing day, especially after the intense day we had yesterday. I definitely could not have asked for a better boat.
