Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

Today we woke up at 6:30 to go to Mountain Point. We started our rotations 9am, and there were three rotations: knots, waterskiing, wake boarding, kneeboarding and diving. The Questers did a really cool reef snorkel. My group, the Vega’s, did a 7 foot dive today and we learned vital skills like taking your gear off underwater and putting it back on. Next the Vega’s started to water ski, kneeboard and wakeboard. The advanced diving groups did a 40 foot dive with a swim through cave. After that they went to an amazing session of water sports. Later we sailed to Vixen Point and created a line of boats on the beach called a raft. Later when we were showering we saw a barracuda and a turtle! As the girls were finishing up, they were scared by a pack (I’m not sure that’s what it’s called) of jellyfish that stung but did not hurt and it was kind of funny from the boys perspective. We had dinner and did our squeeze, we hold hands and ask a question and tell everybody what our favorite part of the day is. Today was a very fun day and I can’t wait for tomorrow! 🙂
