Despite a few sunburns, today was an awesome day! We woke up early to get a head start on the day. After breakfast, we divided into three groups to get started with our morning activities. One group went off to watersports, one to diving and one to windsurfing. The watersports were super fun, and although we had to fight through a few wipe-outs, everybody managed to get up on either a wakeboard, kneeboard, or waterskis. The windsurfing proved a challenging yet rewarding experience. Especially considering it was a new endeavor for many of us. Today’s diving, although quite basic, was the first time for many of us to experience the fantastic feat of breathing underwater. We learned many basic skills to prepare us for our dives to come! By midday, we had gone through all of our activities and headed out for a group hike to the windward side of the island. By the time we all regrouped at the beach, we were all tired and ready for a shower, dinner, and relaxing evening aboard the fine vessel of Calypso. The rest of our evening remains a mystery. We have been cryptic clues that allude to some sort of surprise-Lifeworks Forum. I’m not sure what to expect, but I’m sure it will be a good time.
