With an early morning wake up at 6:30 this morning, everyone was a little sleepy from last night’s Lifeworks for Neptunes and rescue lecture for the Rescues. The wonderful breakfast made by the infamous chefs Joe and Caleb consisted of eggs, assorted fruit, and muffins. Shortly after, the Neptunes and Rescues split into their groups. Neptunes went to the beach for navigation work and Rescues for a lecture on surface rescues. We all reconvened for a nice tuna fish sandwich lunch (of course, listening to all kinds of trap music). We do have our moments of John Mayer (we have quite a mix of music genres on Mahi). We again broke up to our groups after lunch. Neptunes went to do a navigation dive and Rescues to learn how to save panicked divers at the surface and tired divers. The current was quite strong, and most of us could have been considered tired by the end! All jokes aside, Rescues did learn something. And all of us have actually been studying! Again we reconvened for some homemade chili (Tina and Davis really took charge on this one). Tor may or may not have put too much hot sauce on her chili. All in all, it was an eventful, playful day. Thanks, Mom and Dad, for sending us! I promise we’re all having a wonderful time here. See y’all soon!
