Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today was our first rotation day, and we got to do so many different things like attempting to wakeboard, driving a dingy, windsurfing, and scuba diving. First, our group started with water sports such as wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and water skiing. I attempted to get up on the wakeboard but really struggled since it was kind of rough out. I can’t wait to try again on the next rotation day, though! Next, we learned how to drive a dingy, which was very confusing at first because of the tiller-steer setup, but after we got some practice time, it became less difficult, to say the least. For lunch, we had chicken salad sandwiches, PB and J, and some leftover pasta from last night’s dinner before heading over to the shore, where we learned to windsurf. It was very challenging but so much fun, even though we all fell a lot. Then lastly, we had started the confined water dives that we need to get scuba certified. It was really fun, and we saw so many little fish. As of now right now I am writing this before we eat dinner, which is going to be vegetarian chili. I am really excited to hear what the plan for tomorrow is and what is in store for the next 16 days!
