Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today was long and exciting! We started off with an early morning. It wasn’t the best of starts due to a tangle between our anchors. Luckily Kelli, one of the mates on the ship with scuba gear, was ready. After that, we ate a meal of oatmeal on our way to the Baths. We arrived in 45 minutes’ time. After we arrived, we connected to a mooring ball to anchor us. We then took our dinghy and drove to the swim zone. All of us swam frantically to explore. Many made the climb to take a 10ft plunge into the clear water. Some also took a small hike around the area. After about an hour and a half or so, we headed back to our boat to take freshwater showers and head to port in Spanishtown, where everybody had a 1 hour and 45 minute period to do as they please. We ended the day with hours of sail practice and emergency procedures. Finally, we anchored in Savannah Bay.
