Location: The Bight, Norman Island

We woke up early in the morning and ate some cereal for breakfast. The night before was our first night all together on the boat, and we mostly slept on top of the deck under the stars. It was so clear, and there was a nice breeze that cooled the air. After breakfast, we began sailing on our boat for the first time. I was the skipper along with Nick and Patrick at the wheel, and the rest helped out with the jib. We sailed for a good two hours to the island with a dive spot off of it. There was a cove connected to it with a bunch of urchins and parrotfish. Afterward, we had our first experience with showering on the ship. It’s a little salty but does the job. We then went over to where we are anchored for the night. It was a beautiful day, and I look forward to the rest of the trip.
