Location: The Bight, Norman Island

After an early waking and devouring of the fine cereal selection, the new crew of Calypso itched to see the open water. Sadly we experienced delays due to minor issues. To pass the time, we attempted to converse in French and Spanish with the diverse crew. Following a few failed attempts at Arabic, we floated away from West End. We proceeded to carry the dinghies Blaze and Sunsail up the Sir Francis Drake channel toward our snorkeling location, the Caves. We then picked up Alex, our previously missing instructor, and witnessed large heads of coral with equally large fish dwelling among them. As the mood settles after dinner, we prepared for the premier dive chats of the session. Afterward, we will all congregate under the stars in our hammocks and prepare for the many more amazing days to come.
