Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Early this morning we awoke to a heavy but brief rain shower. After our chefs, Zack and Chris B. were awake and dripping; they prepared pancakes. We then traveled to the wreck of the RMS Rhone, a ship which went down in a hurricane in 1867, to dive. Vega shipmates dove down and saw the stern of the boat, while those on Quest snorkeled around the area. After lunch, we began our hike on the beach. We hiked to the top of a tall hill to the windward side of the island. The visibility at the top of the hill allowed us to see for miles, despite the passing rain. After the hike ended, we returned to the boat and prepared to surprise Gordo for his birthday tonight!
