Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today is the day everyone puts their new skills to the test against the whole fleet. We started sailing first in the morning and went to where we began- West End. We were given our phones back and money to spend at port. I am glad I can be on land for a little because I feel I know the boat and every corner. Once people were done, we could relax a bit before the race to Great Harbor, Peter Island. For Sambamba, the hardest part was raising our mainsail. It took us 3 hours and 30 minutes to get from West End to Great Harbor. This trip to me doesn’t feel like a camp. A camp you stop and come back in 12 hours. ActionQuest is a non-stop, thrilling adventure. You’re always moving, either with the waves or against the current. Yes, I am exhausted at the end of each day, but that means I’m having the time of my life. Once I get home, I will miss my boat, which I called home for 21 days; Sambamba.
