We are so fortunate to have an amazing last day. We woke up and had breakfast with some unexpected guests from the sea- dolphins. They jumped through the water, giving us a personal morning show. Then we prepared for the last official sailing race. We all felt the intensity and pressure to win this race, and I guess it hit us hard because Changes dominated first place. It was one of the best moments of my life, laughing and cheering as we sped past everyone. It’s definitely one of those memories that we will remember forever. It’s only sad that moments can’t live longer because there are so many amazing moments we have experienced in the BVI this summer that I wish would never have to end. Endings are sad and scary sometimes, and the end of this adventure with everyone is something I don’t want to face. But everything in life has an ending, so really, life is all about the adventure, friendships, moments, and memories you create along the way. And I know I have created some that will keep with me for the rest of my life. Not only can I walk away with great stories to share and memories to keep in our hearts, but we can also walk away with a skill that will help us through the rest of our lives. I know for certain that after this experience, I am going home a new and improved version of myself. I can’t thank AQ, the staff, and the new friends I’ve made, enough for the experience we’ve gotten to have.

But most importantly, I can’t thank Bobby, Cayley, and Jack enough for making our AQ experience amazing in the even not so fun moments. Without them, my AQ experience wouldn’t have been the same. Love you guys.
