Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

After yesterday’s completely packed day, we woke tired and sore but ready for another fantastic day. Unfortunately, a good two-thirds of the boat left for rescue training in the morning. The Neptunes, myself included, enjoyed two awesome fun dives at the Playgrounds, interspersed by a quick lunch of Ramen noodles. While we ate, we got to watch the rescue divers completing their first surprise scenario the next boat over, rescuing three victims in the water. After the second dive, we took the dinghy to the beach on Sandy Spit, a tiny island that can be circumnavigated by foot. Now we are getting ready for a dinner of franks and beans and afterward, a dive-side Lifeworks forum on Mary Morgan.
