Location: The Bight, Norman Island
As our trip is coming to an end, today was like the rest except more melancholy because everyone is glumly talking about the trip and how we’re going to keep in touch when we get back home. Other than the sad moments, the day was good. We woke up at the normal hour after sunrise, and all ate pancakes, which were delicious. Marita made cinnamon pancakes. Afterward, we motored to the Fearless and enjoyed a chill wreck dive while others went turtle tagging unsuccessfully. Then we motored to Road Town for lunch and Gelato. Then we got ready for the race. Boyd’s prank worked like magic because the eight pounds of sail we put in Gemini’s sail bag completely covered the boat when they raised their main. We did awesome in the race finishing third. It was a fun sail, and we had a good time. The rest of the day was just chilling at the finish line and enjoying the laughs and dinner.
