Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
Today we woke up to the smell of pancakes. The staff had a meeting this morning so we spent the morning eating pancakes, playing cards, and drinking coffee. After, we sailed to Mountain Point where we dove the Kodiak Queen also known as the Kraken. This wreck had been one of my favorite dive sites because of all the beautiful fish we saw and because of the octopus structure on top. Later I took the helm and sail us all the way from Mountain Point to Muskmelon Bay. It was a long and kind of rocky sail but time went by fast because we were having so much fun. Once we arrived, our chefs for today made chili and rice for us. Now we are cleaning up and getting our scuba gear ready for our last night dive tonight. We are diving the sand highway tonight. This will be our final night dive and we will be going by ourselves. We are all a little nervous but excited. We are looking forward to having some cake later for Sarah’s birthday! The second half of our trip is off to a great start!
