Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
After a night of wind in Marina Cay, I awoke to staff member Anna tapping me trying to wake me up. I had to gather all of my shipmate’s sheets and pillowcases. I was on my own for this because the staff members had a meeting to attend. After a delicious breakfast of french toast, we had about an hour to ourselves before we left to sail. We practiced all the points of sail for two hours, taking turns on the helm. We arrived at Trellis Bay around 1 pm and ate a fantastic meal of chicken nuggets and mozzarella sticks. We went through a few stores, and I bought three new t-shirts, 2 of which are tank tops, my new favorite clothing. We left promptly at 3. We anchored in Muskmelon Bay and had a refreshing salt water shower. Once this was over Craig, Michael, and I initiated the boat buddies and made a secret handshake. Everybody is jealous of us because we are so cool! We at chili for dinner and Mike came to visit us. We did another Lifeworks activity with postcards.
