Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today’s breakfast consisted of bagels, cream cheese, and yogurt. After which we split into our course groups – Neptune, Dolphin, and Rescue. Neptune, of which I am a part of, worked on the underwater navigation section of our advanced open water certifications. The first activity was practicing with the compass on the beach. Later we went back to Changes in Latitude to move to the dive site. We entered the water in buddy pairs two at a time every two minutes. This dive tested our fundamental navigation skills. These included various movement patterns to get back to the starting point. The Dolphins found a CD of a Christmas album which still plays. Later, JR, Mia, Clay and I went to Sumo to go skiing and wake-boarding. For dinner, Jake came over and we had chili, which was pretty good. Overall, had a wonderful day, can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
