Location: The Bight, Norman Island

Starting our journey at our home in West End, we woke up at what seemed like the crack of dawn- 7 am. Enjoying a quick breakfast of cereal and cantaloupe we prepared for the dock talk and the rest of our day. Beginning at 8 am Mike gave us the lowdown on the rest of our trip and got us in proper spirits to become true PADI Divemasters. Once we left the dock, we began our sail to The Caves at Norman Island. Here we did our check up divs and practiced some refresher drills. Only we didn’t find a sandy spot to do anything, so we just enjoyed a fun dive instead. After our dive, we worked on our knowledge reviews for our scuba chat tonight and began assisting younger divers, and snorkelers get outfitted and into the water. Soon enough, we will be helping teach skills and leading dives! As for the rest of tonight, we are currently prepping a dinner of sloppy joes and an easy night bonding at The Bight. Also, tonight we’ll meet our final shipmate! Jake will join us tonight, and we will finally have our full cohort. As for tomorrow, we’re headed to Savanna Bay for another day in paradise 🙂
