Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola

Today we woke up to an amazing breakfast prepared by Ben and Molly. The first rotation started soon after, so we had to get cleanup underway pretty quickly, but luckily we had finished just in time as the first group of Vegas arrived. We helped them set up their equipment and get in the water, but didn’t hop in after them. Instead, we got in with our own instructors to do some rescue towing exercises. We did this until about mid-day but had to get out to have lunch and pump some tanks. Following lunch, we had a second Vega boat rotate through, so we helped set up gear again and then got in the water again for a skills dive. We finished that pretty quickly, as we only had 2 or 3 skills left (depending on the group)j, so afterward, we got to come back aboard and wait for the Vegas to surface. This was their last dive they had to complete before becoming certified as PADI Open Water divers, so it was pretty cool to see their faces coming up from their dive and getting to congratulate them. After all, rotations were finished, and everyone got shuttled back to their own boats, the whole fleet motored to Sommer’s Beach for a BBQ on the sand!
