Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today we woke up at 5:30 after getting drenched in the rain last night. I navigated the crew to the Baths, where we all explored and swam through the rock labyrinths. Later I led the crew to the Spanishtown dock, making difficult maneuvers look easy. At Spanishtown we all had burgers and wings and finished the meal with some ice cream. Then everybody waved goodbye to Spanishtown. Then I navigated through the open sea for two hours where a new record speed of 10.3 knots was achieved. Then we arrived to Gorda Sound, where Captain Ian and I performed a “Mediterranean mooring” with surprising ease. After we had some delicious pasta for dinner and then had a sail chat. It was a really great day. Excited for tomorrow and then next time I get to skipper.
