A Great Beginning

This was our first day to set sail in the BVI. We woke up at around 6 even though we could sleep in till seven. After a long journey to get here and even a broken phone that lost all of my things, I was excited to get here. We had a delicious breakfast of cereal and apples and we headed down to the end of the dock for a talk. Director Mike talked to us about safety while telling an interesting story that went with each one. When the talk was done we started getting ready to set sail! I got to help drive the boat first and it was amazing. During our sailing, we got to talk to each other and learn names and become more situated. After sailing for a while we got to our first place where we could snorkel. I got to see my sister while we were getting prepared to snorkel (she is on the Divemaster program). After an amazing snorkeling trip, we got into our dinghy (tiny boat) and went back to the boat to eat. We had sandwiches and Pringles, then we jumped back in! After doing a couple flips and dives we did an ocean shower then set sail. At our last destination, we moored. I can tell that everyone is excited for the next day!
