Day 10 – Getting Familiar With Musk Melon
Posted: Sun, Aug 7, 2016
Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
Breakfast was pancakes with our little twist of bananas. Us being the angels that we are, we saved them some, which they were joyed to see that we did. We then made our way to Musk Melon Bay. Today we are diving three times here, one being an individual night dive. Our first dive was a fun deep dive where our max depth was 70ft. We all followed a path of sand between coral named the sand highway. When we surfaced and deconstructed our gear, we went away from the other boats to put air in our tanks for our second dive. After an hour, we came back and dove with our buddies. We all saw plenty of fish. I, personally saw 6 stingrays. After the second dive, we left to full our tanks once again. This time some of us went wakeboarding in the meantime. Now, after dinner, we are watching a beautiful sunset before our night dive. About to go on the third dive today in the same place, I can finally say that we have been getting familiar with Musk Melon.
