Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
Another beautiful day has come and gone in the BVI’s and we are already 2/3 of the way through our trip! This morning we motored over to beautiful Brewers Bay while enjoying oatmeal and fresh fruit for breakfast. After cleanup, we dove the Pinnacles and Shark Point where the dolphin students collected more data for their research projects. These were some of the most amazing dives of the trip! We saw lionfish, porcupine fish, a gargantuan lobster and squid galore! Next, McKenna and Jackson made us all delicious quesadillas for lunch that we scarfed down. Then the dolphins continued working on their fish ID books and dolphin quizzes while the Neptunes took a much-deserved rest. After everyone’s siestas, study time, and turtle tagging, we motored over to Cane Garden Bay to refill our water tanks and have dinner – Thai peanut chicken – with our best bud Sam, who is so kind for fixing our beloved vessel all the time! The day is now winding down with a boat dance party to another “Tropics” and a movie. This trip is flying by and our boat is growing closer every day.
