Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
The day began in Marina Cay with a delicious pancake breakfast. As soon as we finished cleaning, the crew had a dance party while waiting to depart. Finally, we grabbed our PFD’s and rushed to the bow to raise the sails It was a long sail; the islands slowly disappeared from our view until we couldn’t see anything but ocean. Choppy seas awaited us at our dive site, the wreck of the Chikuzen. The visibility wasn’t great, but the dive was still really cool and we saw large schools of fish. Once we surfaced, sails were opened and the journey to Musk Melon Bay began. It was a stormy sail with several rainy dance parties. Once we arrived, a dinner of chili and rice was served. During cleanup, the dive gear was set up in preparation for our third night dive, this time we’re going alone! Anyway, I have to go get my BCD on for tonight’s dive, but today was another great day in the BVI’s!
