Day 3 Mory The Lonely Remora
Posted: Sat, Aug 1, 2015
Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
This morning we had an early start at 6:30. We had a breakfast of cereal then we set up dive gear to go on our first navigation dive. After a lecture with Tinawe jumped in the water and all successfully navigated. On our dive we saw many fish and a friendly remora. Justin completed his open water course and is now officially a certified diver. Congrats dude! We then sailed over to Cooper Island and had our first fun dive of the trip at Blue Chromis reef. After a lunch of PB & J we sailed over to Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda. During the sail we learned how to tie knots that will be useful throughout the rest of the trip. We also learned about sailing safety.
When we got to Savannah we had shower time and a back-flip contest off our dingy Phantom. We dried off and had a dinner of cheesy Alfredo. Later we’re going to meet up with the rest of the dive side boats and have our first Lifeworks forum with Mike. I can’t wait to have another awesome day!
