I Love The Way She Sparkles In The Sunlight

As we wind down on the trip on Argo there is a bittersweet atmosphere surrounding the boat and its crew. As stoked as we are about our families, friends and hot showers on the horizon it’s a glum realization that we only have 9 more full days to accomplish everything we set out to on this life changing journey. The vibe of the boat and its crew members from day one to now has drastically changed for the better. These past couple of days I’ve noticed an apparent motivation and desire of everyone to do things to the best of their ability. A great example of that would be today. We had a long, hot day of BA, Boat Appreciation, on Argo after we docked in Palma, Mallorca, Spain. It was one of the most efficient BA’s yet, and we all had a sense of pride for our ship that simply wasn’t there at the beginning of our trip. After finishing this exhausting but rewarding clean up, we all headed into Palma for a couple hours of free time before dinner and squeeze. From the short period of time spent in this city, I can already say its by far one of the most gorgeous, well kept up cities I’ve visited in my lifetime. We are docked with a stupendous view of a cathedral that takes my breath away with each glance. The city is far more touristy than the others we’ve seen. It’s refreshing to the eye and has street performers as well as artists and vendors of original works of art on each corner. We could spend ten days here and still manage to not see everything. This is stressful considering we only have four days to explore.
I’d like to give a quick shout out to my family and friends as I miss you all dearly and can’t wait to hug each and every one of you.
Thanks for your time and good night ‘merica!
