Day 14- Rhone Day
Posted: Wed, Aug 13, 2014
Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
We woke up this morning and pretty quickly got underway. We headed to Salt Island to dive the wreck of the RMS Rhone. The Rhone is a world famous dive site and one of the best in the BVI. After eating a breakfast of cereal on the way, we arrived and set the boat up for diving. With the DMs leading, the advanced students dive first. We saw tons of life on the wreck. We saw a turtle and a ray. We did a cool swim through by the propeller of the wreck. After we surfaced the open water students hit the water. After everyone was done it was time for lunch. We had deli sandwiches. We then dinghied over to Salt Island for a hike. The views at the top were amazing. After taking tons of pictures we went back to the boat and then had a nice downwind sail back to Peter Island. We relaxed and showered and then had one of the best dinners, which is breakfast for dinner. We are now cleaning the boat. DMs are doing our EFR test and then we will all have movie night. We are all enjoying our last few days of the trip.
