Staff Update Day 10: How Time Flies
Posted: Sat, Aug 9, 2014
Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
It’s so hard to believe that we have been aboard Second Wind for ten days already and that there are only seven days left. Our crew of shipmates had a very exciting beginning of their trip with Bertha and the rain showers that it brought. Our Neptunes, Dolphins and Rescues have been working hard for their certifications. Neptunes have had deep dives, wreck and fish ID dives to name a few. Dolphins have begun their project dives and working on their fish journals and research papers. Rescues have been completing all their book work and kicking butt in the practical skills. Here are some favorites of the trip so far: Jules, Harrison and Emma have been enjoying sitting at the helm and learning lots from staff. Tommy enjoyed meeting new people from around the world. Micheal, Max and Misha loved diving the 248 food Korean refrigerator ship Chikuzin and seeing Goliath grouper, stingrays and sharks. Sebastian loved diving on the RMS Rhone and learning about the history behind the wreck. Tim and Teddy both have enjoyed all the dives, especially when they are diving together. Marc and Amelia couldn’t choose their favorite parts because they have just loved everything about Action Quest! We are all very excited to see what the next seven days will bring for the crew of Second Wind.
