Day 15- Longest Day Of Our Lives

Today started with a 6am wake-up call. We got up, gathered our things, ate breakfast and headed to the dock to get ready for our 6 mile hike up and down Mt. Sage. We started the steep ascent and were exhausted in the first five minutes. After about an hour and a half of hiking we made it to the summit. There we took quick photos and wrote our name in the book of hikers who made it to the top. Then we headed back down after getting some banana smoothies. We were shocked to find that the walk down was almost as hard as up. Once making it to the bottom we went to get lunch, gather some groceries, then headed back to our boat. Next we sailed the boat to a sandy island. There we participated in a sand castle contest. After much debate we chose to make a dragon out of sand. It actually came out quite good up until the water came and destroyed it. From there we went back to the boat and took the fastest shower of our lives. After we all shower we motored to another island. Here we all rafted the boats together in preparation for the night’s BBQ. After having some downtime we walked onto the docks and got in line to buy t-shirts from Sydney’s Peace and Love. After eating and shopping we enjoyed some reggae til about 11pm. We then made our way back to our boats where we then laid down and finally passed out from exhaustion. Today was definitely the longest, most action-packed day of our lives!
