Day 18 – Certification Day!

We woke up this morning to a wonderful, not-so nutritious bowl of wheat thin cereal that started off the day right! We then sailed off to Salt Island which couldn’t be a more stunning view! We then went straight to Gemini to a colorful shipwreck called the RMS Rhone which sunk due to a horrific storm in 1867. The pieces of the ship are all scattered around in one area full of beautiful fish, exotic coral and tons of broken up wood! Then we ascended to the surface where I was then proclaimed a certified diver. Afterwards we went on a 15 minute hike to the top of Salt Islands mountain where we were able to see where the Queen of England collects an ounce of salt each year! Then we came back to Changes for another breakfast which we have now come to call Brinner. Then came time for a sad, happy squeeze which talked about our favorite moments throughout the trip. I couldn’t thank ActionQuest enough for the loving staff, awesome shipmates and nothing but perfect diving sites! So thank you AQ for being a major impact on my life (in a good way); not only giving me one of the best experiences but for changing my life forever.Love always, Emma
