Today was a good day to be on Distant Drums. While diving a wreck we saw a stingray, a lionfish, and some faraway fish called spotted drums, or wait for it, Distant spotted Drums. Get it? I made a pun with the ships name. Before that we woke up at 5:30 to sail to a beach in Anegada. The fluidity with which my shipmates responded to the call to raise the sail was impressive by itself but more so given the hour. It was only topped by the fluidity with which the boat moved through the water making over 8 knots thanks to the lovely conditions this morning. Best of all everyone had a great day.
